Initial Ideas for Film Poster

For the film poster, I plan to use the influence from 'The Rite' film poster. Since the film trailer will be based upon religion and the genre is mainly stalker-slasher, the film poster would need some religious iconography as well as signs that it's an slasher-feature film. The focus of the film will be on the main characters which are the psychotic killer priest, the police detective and his trusty female assistant. Thus, the film poster may feature one of the main characters or all of them if it's possible. The colour scheme should depict the colours used for any symbolisms of murder as well as the dystopian future since that's the time era the film will be set in.

Initial Ideas for Film Magazine Front Cover

For the film magazine front cover, I plan to use the influence from 'Sight & Sound' magazine. Since the magazine mainly uses close-up head-shots for the front cover image; I will be using the same style of photography used my front cover. Instead of using colour for the front cover of my magazine; I'll be editing the image to be gray-scale instead so that it'll make the picture standout more from the background. The colour scheme used on the magazine is quite simple and matches with the colours used for the background colour and the photography used. However, the colours are also suitable for the headline of the magazine which is what I plan to do for my front cover image. The model for the front cover is also looking away from the camera or passed it; which is what I plan to have my model do.
