Layout plan for Film Magazine Front Cover

This is the layout for the front cover of the film magazine. I plan for the magazine to be influenced by the magazine 'Sight and Sound' thus, I will be attempting to follow the design style of the front cover of the film magazine.

Layout plan for film poster

The influence I'm using for my film poster is 'The Rite' film poster. The idea of the cross being the main focus with a close-up head-shot of the character also being the focus for the audience. The flames are meant to represent the fire of 'hell' since it's the opposite of 'heaven'. The crucifix is meant to seem appear as if it's being consumed by the flame thus; expressing that hell is devouring Christ.
