For the film magazine front cover font; I had to make sure that it was similar to the magazine I'm planning to use as an inspiration which is 'Sight & Sound' magazine.
For the first font test; I thought it was quite similar to the font but it wasn't bold enough to be the title of the magazine so I didn't choose to use this one. It also looked more pixelated (similar style to the typography used for a type-writer so it was a bit old-fashioned).
The second font test was similar a bit more bolder than the first one but I couldn't use it since it was more blocked at the serif points.
The third font test was a bit different and compacted compared to the past two but it didn't really suit the style of the magazine since it had to be similar to the style of 'Sight and Sound' magazine.
The fourth font test had smooth serifs but I thought it still wasn't bold enough and wouldn't stand out enough for the title of the magazine enough though it looks neater to use.
The last font test was my chosen one since it was quite compacted together (the words), it wasn't spaced apart too much and it was bold enough to stand out which would appeal more to the audience.
